You won't have to pay a political levy, and you won't have to sign up to a set of nationally (or even locally) enforced policies - some of which might be distasteful to you.
What you will have, by voluntary association with others of like mind, is a ready-made support and advice group to help you through the process of standing as a candidate for either the Borough or a Town or Parish Council, and people who will be there for you when you are elected as a Councillor, to show you the ropes, and help you to represent your electorate effectively.
We are not looking for 'Yes' people. We want genuinely independent people who will act for the people they represent without other pressures or influence.
